As a nonprofit and public management scholar specializing in networks and collaborative governance, I have developed my research agenda to examine organizations as actors within broader institutional and community environments. I also focus on understanding nonprofit and public organizations and their boundary management through partnerships and collaborative efforts. I approach nonprofit and public management from a macro perspective, engaging with both traditional organizational theories and more emergent considerations of how nonprofits and public agencies interact with their environment.
